DreamCatcher Productions are a non-profit, community interest organisation set up to offer unique opportunities to the younger generation of performers. We are firm believers that the future is behind every young person. Our organisation was formed on the basis that opportunities for the younger generation were minimal, and their ideas stayed just as thoughts. We work hard to offer a blank canvas to young people where they can run wild with their imagination and develop something positive; allowing them to have a voice.
Since opening in 2008, we have worked with hundreds of artists from all walks of life giving them the chance to take their first steps into the entertainment industry and gain valuable experiences. With the majority of media reporting negative claims against young individuals, we can see why the nation is led to believe that every hooded child that walks down the street is another crime statistic. We work closely with young people to make sure they get the credit they deserve.
We are a not for profit organisation and receive no Government grants, therefore we have to generate our own funds to keep all of our projects running. To find out how we do this and how you can help click the tab above to read on...
Supporting Young People and the Wider Community...
Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated volunteers who share the same vision; presenting a blank canvas, allowing young people to run free with their imagination, express true emotion and exhibit something beautiful and original giving a diverse and energetic edge to the local arts development.
The DreamCatcher Productions events team work on many types of different events including our own in-house events and local community projects inlcuding the Crawley Irish Festival and Christmas Light Switch on event as well as working with local dance and performing arts schools within the area.
We work hard to build long term relationships within the community, providing our support and services to local venues, charities, community events and small businesses. We aim to work with third parties that share the same values as we do, and those that show an interest in the support and growth of the local arts development.
Our organisation is run by a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the community and we support our team to get the best from their experience with us.
Most of our services are available either for free or at highly discounted rates to local venues, charities, community events or small businesses that fit our community engagement criteria.
In the past we have supplied PA Systems for charity fun days and school fetes, Lighting to Crawley Carnivals main stage, Stewarding for Crawley’s Christmas Lights switch-on, and Stage Management to the Crawley Irish Festival that takes place on the grounds of the Hawth theatre annually.
